Nicole Brabec in the lead ahead of Franziska Peitzmeier and Johanna Lindberg

The Austrian Nicole Brabec is further in the lead ahead of silver medal winner of WC 2015 and EC 2016, Franziska Peitzmeier (GER) and Johanna Lindberg from Sweden. Lena Birkenau (AUT/NÖ) ranks fourth. Therefor Austria has two athletes in the second round of the top 15. rGermany has with the EC bronze medal winner 2016, Hannah Steverding (5). and the reigning European champion Mara Xander (7). two more strong athletes in the second round. Switzerland (Sarah Linder & Samira Garius) and Denmark (Anna Victoria dam & Emma Helena Kaps) are represented by two athletes. On their way to the title the vaulters have to do one more compulsory and one more freestyle.
